(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 18 - Stellantis's Europe sales were down
13.7% in 2022 on the previous year, the carmaker said Wednesday.
The group registered some 2,052,543 vehicles last year, it said.
Market share fell an annual 2%, from 20.2% in 2021 to 18.2% last
year.
The Italo-Franco-American giant sold 159,425 cars in December,
10.3% down on the same month in 2021.
Its share of the European market in December was 14.6%, down
from 18.7% 12 months previously.
Stellantis also said Wednesday that it was continuing its
electrification strategy aiming to create a European cluster for
e-car batteries.
It said that from 2025 Finnish company Terrafame will it with
supply nickel sulfate to make batteries. (ANSA).
