The Czech Rep. boasts the world's longest suspension bridge
It's Sky Bridge 721, located in the Mlynicke Valley
01 June, 15:05 (ANSA) - BELGRADE, JUN 1 - The longest Tibetan bridge
globally is a metal footbridge that spans 720 meters and hangs
95 meters above the Mlynicke Valley in the Czech Republic, named
'Sky Bridge 721'.
The Czech National Tourist Board reported that the bridge was recently opened in Eastern Bohemia and is the most potent attraction on the so-called ''Trail in the Clouds'' between the natural spires of the Eagle Mountains and the Jeseníky Mountains.
The building work took about two years. Six main trailing cables support the bridge. With its length, Sky Bridge 721 broke the previous world record set by the Arouca Bridge (516 m) in Portugal, which opened last year. Close to the Tibetan Bridge in Czechia, visitors can find tourist resorts, a bobsled track, roller coasters, and a tree adventure park. (ANSA).
