Evidence of war crimes in Ukraine: German Attorney General

'Russia's leaders should be put on trial'

04 February, 10:32
(ANSA) - BELGRADE, FEB 4 - Germany has gathered evidence of war crimes in Ukraine, according to the German Attorney General Peter Frank, who also sees the need for an international tribunal. "Right now, we're focusing on the mass killings in Bucha or attacks on Ukrainian civilian infrastructure," Frank said, adding that prosecutors have gathered sufficient evidence.

When asked who should face trial, Frank stated that Russia's leaders and those who carry out decisions at the highest military level should be held accountable. (ANSA).
